Part 3 of my Florentine adventure
La Réserve Firenze has just opened on the south bank of the Arno, offering beautiful private 1,2 and 3 bed apartments with all the service of a luxury hotel. The restoration is extraordinary, with original frescoes, painted ceilings and murals brought back to life, some celebrating friendships between historic rulers. Each residence has its own kitchen, making it perfect for families or longer stays. You could easily settle in here for a week or two rather than just a night in Florence. All the comforts of home with impeccable hotel service! I took so many videos of the incredible restoration - believe it or not this is my edited version.

Part of the Ferragamo family’s Lungarno Collection, it’s exceptional not just for its understated luxury and attention to detail, but for the wonderful people who make staying here so special. And even better, I get to spend three nights here with my daughter @yasmincrossart , exploring Florence together. Dinner @osteriacinghialebianco of @stanleytucci fame has been a highlight!

HOTEL SPOTLIGHT - Villa Cora, Florence
Part 1 of my Florentine adventure
A villa fit for a princess! Built in the 1860s by Baron Oppenheim for his wife, Villa Cora later became home to Empress Eugénie, Napoleon III’s widow. Today, it’s a magnificent five-star hotel, perched above Florence with sweeping views of the city, yet just minutes from its historic centre. I woke up in this room this morning….feeling very princessy
